Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteers are needed for SightNight
Volunteers are needed for SightNight
Saturday October 19th, 2024 at 6:00pm at Bower Ponds
Sight Night Red Deer is a fun run in the dark... 3KM / 5KM / 8KM…. vision optional
Sight Night is an exhilarating event that takes place after dark, creating a level-playing field for individuals who are visually impaired or sighted.
The volunteer commitment would be roughly 5:30pm-8pm as we just have stations around the run/walk course to help direct participants. Here's a link to more information: https://asrab.ab.ca/?p=4889
Anybody interested in volunteering can send a note to program.reddeer@asrab.ab.ca
Festival of Trees volunteer recruiters will be in the
Gathering Area from 11am - 1pm on Oct 16 and 17
Please drop by and sign up to volunteer. It's a great way to get all hours done on a weekend.
This year, the Festival of Trees runs Nov 29 - Dec 1.
Great news - Nov 29 is a PD and students don't have classes. You can volunteer all day! ;)
Thanks for making a difference in our community!
