P.E.E.L Paragraph
The theme of the story is that it is better to give than to receive. We know this because the text says, "Every who down in Whoville liked Christmas a lot... But the Grinch, who lived just north of Whoville, DID NOT! The Grinch hated Christmas!" This is evidence because, it tells why he was so bitter. Another reason why we believe this is because the text says, "But I think that the most likely reason of all, may have been that his heart was 2 sizes to small." Another piece of evidence from the text is that "I Must find some way to stop Christmas from coming!"The explanation for this evidence is the Grinch hated Christmas the whole Christmas season. Please don't ask why.
