A Message for Families - December 19, 2024
Season's Greetings from Buffalo Trail Public Schools
As we approach the end of December and the holiday season, I want to reach out to the families of Buffalo Trail Public Schools and express my heartfelt gratitude. Working alongside you and our staff to support your children in their learning and growth is a true privilege.
The first four months of this school year have been filled with energy, achievements, and meaningful moments. Throughout our division, students have been engaged in rich learning experiences, extracurricular activities, and events that foster curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning. These successes are a testament to the dedication and hard work of our students, staff, and families.
Our incredible staff have poured their efforts into teaching, coaching, and planning activities that create opportunities for students to thrive both in and beyond the classroom. They continue to go above and beyond to ensure every child feels valued and supported.
The partnership we have with our families is of utmost importance. Whether you contribute by serving on school councils, volunteering in classrooms, organizing hot lunches, or helping your children with homework at the kitchen table, your involvement makes a difference. The collective effort of our schools and families strengthens our communities and creates the foundation for student success. For that, we are truly grateful.
As we head into the holiday break, I hope the coming weeks bring you the joy of togetherness, moments of relaxation, and opportunities to create lasting memories with those you love most.
On behalf of everyone at Buffalo Trail Public Schools, I wish you a very Merry Christmas, a happy holiday season, and a New Year filled with hope, health, and happiness.
Be well,
Michelle Webb
Superintendent

Council of School Councils
BTPS Trustees and Superintendent Webb were thrilled to host school council representatives from across the division on November 4, 2024. This gathering was a fantastic opportunity for school councils to network, share successes, and brainstorm ways to boost communication, strengthen community partnerships, and grow memberships.
BTPS believes that when parents and community members are engaged, everyone benefits—students, families, teachers, and our entire community. Thank you to all the dedicated individuals who contribute to our schools' success through their involvement.
We continue to encourage parents or community members to take an active role in their local school council. “Many hands make light work”. Contact your local school today to find out more. Check out the full media release on our website here.
