Our 3rd-5th graders had a blast at our testing BINGO party today. We appreciate everyone who sent prizes. We were able to give out over 25 prizes and 300 snacks!
Valentine's Day was a big success. We want to give a special shout out to all our Homeroom parents that organized such fun parties. Also, thank you to all the families who sent items or came to make the day special for students.
Next year's school calendar was approved and I am linking it in the bottom of the newsletter for your reference.
Friday the 21st is Spring Individual and Class Picture day. Order forms have been sent home. If you want pictures, send in your form on or before picture day. There are two separate forms: One for individual pictures and one for class pictures.
On Thursday, February 27th we will have our Night of the Arts event. This will include a huge display of student art work, projects and some amazing talent. We will have teacher experiences for you to bid on and snacks you can purchase. Proceeds from this event support our Shaw scholarship program and our arts programs at school.
Kindergarten enrollment begins March 10th. You will enroll online at https://www.sdale.org/page/enroll. We are excited to welcome all our new students to Shaw!
