Youth Empowerment Summit
Hello Students!
I hope you have had a great EXTENDED holiday! I wanted to share a wonderful opportunity with you to attend the Youth Empowerment Summit.
The Youth Empowerment Summit brings together nearly 100 students from across Bartholomew County for an inspiring day of learning, leadership, and personal growth. Upon arrival, students are greeted by prominent local leaders, including the Mayor of Columbus, Indiana. They then experience a powerful keynote address, engage in three dynamic seminars led by local experts, and have the opportunity to connect with over 25 community partners eager to share valuable resources and opportunities with the next generation of leaders.
Have I mentioned this event is during school hours?! This year's theme is "Find Your Future." You can apply here: https://cydbartholomew.app.neoncrm.com/np/clients/cydbartholomew/survey.jsp?surveyId=30&.
Space is limited, so apply as soon as possible 🙂
This event is organized by the Council for Youth Development Bartholomew County. https://www.cydbartholomew.org/ Instagram: / cydbartholomew Facebook: / cydbartholomew

Whether it's behavior issues or holiday stress, a coach can help guide you through it. Click here to register for support from a coach: https://cookcenter.info/coaching
We are excited to share a new mental health and family resource that has the potential to make a meaningful impact on our lives and the community. Through generous grant funding, all Bartholomew County families can now access Parent Coaching. This powerful resource is free and could benefit anyone!
Parenting is hard; we can all use an ally, reassurance, and additional expertise. We believe in the potential for these services so much that we encouraged our FRHC counselors and administrators to try it first. We have received positive feedback and praise for Parent Coaching in the initial weeks.
