Dear SWS Community,
As we conclude this school year, I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to our incredible teachers and staff. Your dedication, hard work, and unwavering commitment have made this year a success. You have gone above and beyond each day to support our students in their academic and social-emotional growth, and you truly deserve this well-earned summer break.
To our parents and guardians, thank you for your invaluable partnership. Your support and collaboration have been essential in fostering a nurturing and enriching environment for our students. We deeply appreciate the role you play in our school community.
To our PTO - thank you! The PTO, spearheaded by Mrs. Rachel Weiss, created so many wonderful memories for our students this year...bi-weekly pizza lunches, the holiday store, the spring dance, and bingo night to name a few. Your partnerships with us on so many events like the Pumpkin Run, Field Day, and Caught Being Kind are priceless. Thank you.
And to our amazing students, your hard work and enthusiasm were a joy to watch. We hope you enjoy a wonderful summer break filled with outdoor adventures, quality time with family and friends, and perhaps even the joy of discovering a new favorite book.
We have an exciting and busy summer ahead at SWS as we plan for our preschool programming and set building goals for the upcoming year. Our goals include enhancing academic and social-emotional development, as well as expanding and strengthening the positive culture within our school and community.
Sixth Grade Promotion
Thank you to Mrs. Stacey Tarbell and Mrs. Lisa Yanecko for organizing a memorable 6th Grade Promotion Ceremony yesterday. Your attention to detail and thoughtful planning made the evening special. And many thanks to class parent Mrs. Nina Vasallo for organizing a great week for our students as they celebrated their final days at SWS. Good luck to our students as they head off to Kittatiny next year!
Ice Cream Party Thank You
Thank you to the PTO and the REC DEPT. for organizing this year's ice cream parties! Students had a great time taking a break this past Monday afternoon and cooling off with a scoop of ice cream or a tasty popsicle!
Next week we have early dismissal day on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday - no lunch will be served. Wishing everyone a happy, restful, and rejuvenating summer!
