Peak Prep Principal's Update
November 12, 2021
Dear Families,
The first semester is coming to a close. We have about 25 school days left, as well as 15 vacation days.
Students- Would you please use these days to catch up and ensure that all of your work submitted is high-quality work that you are proud of? You can do this!
Parents- Please double-check that your students are on track in each of their courses and that there are no missing assignments.
As a reminder, 9th-12th grade students do not earn credit for courses that they do not earn at least a 60% (or D-) grade in. Additionally, High School students need a total of 220 credits to earn their High School Diploma. This means that passing your courses is critical if you want to stay on track to graduate within 4 years.
Thank you for your continued support and for being a partner in your student's learning! I look forward to sharing information with you throughout the year. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Warmest Regards,
Mrs. Sabrina Ciolino

Please sign your Semester 2 Master Agreements
We must receive your student's signed Semester 2 master agreement by no later than December 17th! If we do not receive your semester 2 MA, your student may lose their spot in our school.
We have 25 school days left until Semester 1 ends!
November- 7 days
December-13 days
January-5 days
Is your student behind on their classwork?
Students that are behind pace have November 11th, the week of Thanksgiving Break (11/22-11/26), and the two weeks of Winter Break (12/20-12/31) to get caught up (16 total weekdays). If you are someone who is currently behind in their courses, DO NOT GIVE UP! You can do this! The system will not expect you to be working, so you can get back on track and finish strong if you use your time wisely. Remeber, when the relative grade is 60%, that means you have earned credit for your course. The relative grade is the grade a student would receive if they stopped working and received 0% for all unscored, counted activities. As a reminder, students need a final grade of at least 60% to earn credit for a course.
If you need help getting yourself organized or developing a strategy to pass your courses please please please let us know! Don't give up!
You have been invited to a SART meeting now what?
The goal of this meeting is to get the student back on track, not to punish the student. We are hoping for improvement, not perfection.
