To Our Gibbsboro School Community,
As we approach the holiday season, I would like to take a moment to express my gratitude for your continued support and partnership in our school community. Our monthly community day events are truly a great reminder of how fortunate we are to have students, teachers, staff, and parents working together to make our school the best it can be.
We wish you and your loved ones a wonderful holiday and a happy new year. May this time be filled with joy and cherished moments.

📶 Digital Literacy 📶
Discuss Internet Safety and Online Privacy with Your Child
The Internet is a great resource for research, but easy access to data can be a gateway for others to get hold of your child’s information. Communicate clearly to your child what type of information is and is not okay to share online.
This part of digital literacy can go deeper than just making sure your child doesn’t share personal information. Elaborate on what type of content is appropriate to share on social networks. Remind your child that the instant they post something online, they lose control over it. Anyone can easily save or share the post (whether it’s an article, a piece of personal writing, photos, videos, or anything else), and your child may never know.
Tip: Take advantage of Internet privacy settings. Devices, browsers, and online programs (including social networks) offer options to limit the audience of posts, use nicknames for usernames, or turn off location settings. These small changes can make a world of difference to your child’s safety online.
