A Message from the Principal
Introducing our new House System! This slide show will explain our new houses. Colors are the same, but the names and character traits are newly created by our staff. As a reminder, we wear our HOUSE colors on Mondays and ORANGE on Fridays.
Starting Monday morning, cars coming from North of GA Moore, may use the back drop off area AFTER 7:30 am. You may NOT enter the back Martin parking lot until the A-Frame sign has been moved from the driveway which signals the back drop off is open. You will need to enter and exit from Louisiana as the GA Moore entrance is for buses only.
There will be MINIMAL staff in this area so your child needs to be able to open the door independently. The back doors will shut promptly at 7:45 so staff can begin their teaching assignments. (photo below)
Afternoon pickup will remain in the front lot only.
For those dropping off in the front line, please encourage your child to exit the car quickly and then pull your car over into the outside lane to allow a second lane of traffic to move along the curb. Do NOT stop along the curb until you have pulled up as far as you can go in the line.
There should be NO CELL PHONE usage in the carline in the morning or afternoon. It is a school zone and that is against the law.
Thank you to our amazing parent helpers who have provided tents, water, gatorade and assistance. If you would like to donate a few days of your time, please email MadonnaMosley@CelinaISD.com.

Specials Schedule (Art, PE, Music, Technology, Health)
This year, students will be on a 6 day rotating specials schedule, so there will not be a set day for PE. Please refer to this schedule (which is also on the Parent Guide) to see where your kids will be each day for specials. Tennis shoes/sneakers are REQUIRED for PE and health and are highly encouraged every day as kids do like to run and jump and play at recess and sneakers are the safest option.

Would you like to help support the classrooms by being a Room Parent?
- The Room Parents will be asked to help support various events & needs for the classrooms.
- Some examples include: coordinating Homecoming goodie bags for the class, ensuring the teachers have enough supplies throughout the year, planning Christmas parties for classrooms, gifts for teacher birthdays or appreciation days, and planning goodies for Halloween/Valentine's Day/Halloween.
- Max time commitment is around 3 hours a week, and all/most commitments can be completed outside of regular 8-5 working hours.
Arrival and Dismissal
To accommodate our growing student population and the number of buses we will have, some changes have been made to arrival and dismissal procedures.
Please watch this video so you are aware of the changes.
