Principal's Note
Happy December! As we wrap up the calendar year, I want to take a moment to express my gratitude for the amazing students, staff, and families that make our Grandview community so special. This season is a time for reflection, celebration, and togetherness, and it’s inspiring to see the kindness and joy that fill our halls each day.
December is a short and busy month at Grandview! Here are a few highlights:
- Community Service Project: Our annual Stuff the Truck is underway and donated items will be delivered by our Excite Choir on Friday, December 6th. Thank you to everyone who has donated and supported this initiative.
- Music Program: Join us on Monday, December 9th for a showcase of our talented students. Our music program has been working hard to prepare a delightful performance! Preschool/ECE: 6:00pm; and Kdg-2nd: 7:00pm at the Performing Arts Center (PAC).
As winter break approaches, I encourage everyone to prioritize rest and quality time with loved ones. This is a perfect opportunity for students to recharge and enjoy some well-deserved downtime before we embark on an exciting new year.
Thank you for your continued partnership in making Grandview Elementary a wonderful place for our students to learn and grow. Wishing you a joyful holiday season and a happy New Year!

Completing Second Quarter
As we approach the end of the second quarter and prepare for winter break, our classrooms are buzzing with final learning opportunities and reflections on all we’ve accomplished. Students are wrapping up key units in their core subjects, solidifying skills and knowledge that set the foundation for success in the months ahead.
Additionally, the second round of FastBridge testing is underway. This assessment provides valuable insights into each student’s academic progress, helping us tailor instruction to meet their unique needs.
Thank you for your continued support in helping our students shine. Let’s finish this quarter strong!
