Ms. Bednaryczk - Preschool (GSRP)
My name is Hannah Bednaryczk and I am one of the GSRP teachers here at Kingston Elementary. I have been working in the field of Early Childhood Education for seven years and this will be my second year in Kingston. I graduated from Ferris State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education. I love working with preschool students because I get to be the first step to introduce them to school and help them develop the skills they will need for kindergarten. Some of my favorite hobbies include reading, hiking, kayaking, and camping. I enjoy spending time with my family, my boyfriend, and my two cats.
Ms. Wood - Preschool (GSRP)
My name is Samantha Wood and I’m currently in my fourth year of GSRP and sixth year of preschool. I’ll be graduating from Central Michigan University with my Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education this summer. I’m lucky enough to say I’ve been a part of Kingston’s GSRP since it opened; watching the impact it’s had on the community and students here at KES has been incredible. Each year my class never ceases to amaze me with what they’re able to accomplish before leaving our room. I can’t wait to get to know all the new families interested in our program! In my free time, I enjoy reading, teaching dance, and spending time at the lake with my family and boyfriend.
Mrs. Siemen - Young 5's
Mrs. Partlo - Kindergarten
Hello Kingston Families,
I am Mrs. Partlo and this will be my 5th year teaching kindergarten at Kingston. I graduated from the University of Michigan Flint with a Bachelors in Elementary Education. I have always had a passion for teaching and love watching students grow through their first year! My husband and I have a five year old daughter and a 2 year old daughter. In our free time, we love to spend time with our family and friends, camping, and being on the boat.
I look forward to meeting you soon!
Mrs. Lester - Kindergarten
Hello!
My name is Sarah Lester and I am one of the kindergarten teachers at Kingston Elementary. I have been teaching for 20 years with a majority of that time focused on early childhood education. I have taught first grade as well as Creative Arts. I am a proud graduate of Western Michigan University and I have my Master’s in Reading and Literacy. It is my joy to bring the love of learning into children’s lives. I have been married to my wonderful husband, Dave, for 18 years. I have 4 boys! Being a “boy mom” has me outdoors, camping, biking, and watching sporting events. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, drawing, traveling, and anything Disney. I am so excited to meet this year’s new class of kinders.
Mrs. Gentner - Social Worker
Hi! I’m Raeann Gentner, the KES School Social Worker. I grew up in the area and earned my bachelor’s degree from Alma College and my Master’s in Social Work from the University of Michigan. My passion is making sure every student feels happy, safe, successful, and loved, especially while they’re at school. The best part of my job is greeting students each day with a smile and reminding them how much we care about them as individuals.
I live in Mayville with my husband, Dan, and our two kids, Hudson and Grayce (who are also Kingston Cardinals!). As a family, we love camping, having movie nights, and spending time outdoors.
I’m so excited to meet you and your children and welcome you to the Cardinal family!
Mrs. Hayward - Health Resource Advocate
Hi Cardinal Families!
I am Kelsey Hayward, the KES Health Resource Advocate and School Nurse. I graduated from Saginaw Valley State University with my Bachelors of Science in Nursing. I have been a Registered Nurse for eight years and next year will be my second year as the School Nurse at KES! It is my job to keep your children safe, help them stay healthy, and reinforce the healthy habits they are taught at home. I am from Marlette but currently live in North Branch with my husband, Jon, our two boys, Hollis and Hendrix, our cat and 16 chickens. In my spare time I enjoy swimming, camping, crafting and gardening.
I'm excited to get to know all of our new Cardinals and their families!
Mr. Campbell - Principal
Hello, Cardinal families!
My name is Josh Campbell, proud principal at Kingston Elementary. I will be starting my 13th year in education next fall. For my first nine years, I taught 4th grade at KES. I taught one year of 5th/6th grade math in 2022-2023 before taking on the role of principal in 2023-2024. I graduated from Kingston High School, then attended Saginaw Valley State University where I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and Master's Degree in Principalship. My wife, Tessa, is a social worker at TISD and we are the proud parents of two daughters who attend KES. In my spare time, I enjoy golfing, hunting, and spending time with family.
I am so excited to welcome our newest flock of Cardinals to our KES Family, and look forward to getting to know each and every one of you!
