Middle School Course Catalog
Middle School Course Catalog (7th Grade Only)
Lodi USD has released a new Middle School Course Catalog! It includes information about core subjects such as English Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Science, Physical Education, and foreign languages (available at select sites). Please note that elective offerings vary by school, and site staff will provide additional details. The catalog also includes information about A-G requirements to help families understand college and career readiness. While the College/Career Indicator (CCI) and Career Technical Education (CTE) pathways are part of high school, middle school is a great time to start thinking about future opportunities.

Student Safety Tips
Below are safety tips for your children to follow:
:
Use the buddy system when walking to and from school.
If anyone bothers you while going to and from school, say no, then go, and tell a trusted adult.
If someone you don't know offers you a ride, say NO.
If someone follows you on foot, get away from them as quickly as possible, and tell a trusted adult.
If someone tries to take you somewhere, get away from them as quickly as possible, and yell "this person is trying to take me away!"
Never leave school with someone you don't know. Always check first with your parents or a trusted adult.
If you want to change your plans after school, always check first with your parents or a trusted adult.
If you go home alone after school, check to see that the windows and entrances appear OK before entering. Once inside, call your parents to inform them that you made it home.
Always trust your instincts. If someone makes you feel uncomfortable, get away as quickly as possible, and tell your parents or a trusted adult.
Have You Reported Your Student's Absence?
When your student is going to be absent for the day for any reason, please remember to call our office that day to report the student's absence. You can reach us at 209-331-7541 or email the attendance clerk at jasordaz@lodiusd.net. You have 10 days to clear an absence. Otherwise, the absence will remain UNEXCUSED.
Keep in mind not all absences are excused by LUSD. If the absence is for medical appointments remember to always ask for a doctor's note. Please have the student bring the doctor's note to the office when they return to school. If the student is late to school they should check into the office first. Students tardy to school receive lunch detention.
For early pickups, the person picking up the student must be on the student's emergency contacts and always show their ID to office staff. We encourage you to schedule student medical/dental appointments after school hours or during school breaks. We understand some early pickups are unavoidable, therefore try to always provide us with a doctor's note within 10 days to clear the medical absence. We appreciate families working with us to ensure the student is in school daily and on time. If you have any questions about attendance please do not hesitate to contact us. We are here to help.
