Dear Sunnyvale Elementary Families:

It is my honor and pleasure to welcome you to the 2024-2025 school year! I hope you all have had a relaxing and fun summer break. I am extremely proud to serve as the principal at Sunnyvale Elementary. This will be my 23rd year in education and my 10th year in Sunnyvale. I am very blessed to get to work in such an incredible district. I can't wait to "LET THE RAIDER VIBES ROLL" this school year!

I would like to welcome all of the new families, whether your child is just starting school in PreK or Kinder, or if your family has just moved to the area. We are excited to share all that Sunnyvale Elementary has to offer with you and believe you will soon feel as we do, that Sunnyvale Elementary is a very special place for ALL of our little Raiders. Our teachers, support staff, and families are ready to welcome you to Raider Nation!

The amazing staff at SES has been working tirelessly to finalize their classrooms, fine tune our instructional models, engage in professional learning opportunities, and prepare to make your child feel loved and welcomed into their new classroom family. Our teachers are eager to meet their new students and begin this year’s journey with them. Our goal is to ensure academic success of our students through targeted instruction and progress monitoring, as well as attend to the needs of the whole child through social, emotional, and character development. Our school motto is Be A Raider. Throughout the school year, students will learn what it means to Be A Raider- how to be RESPONSIBLE, be HONEST, be HELPFUL, be KIND and be POSITIVE. We will use this common language throughout our school. Don’t hesitate to ask your child about what it means to be a Raider!

I am looking forward to getting to see our returning little Raiders and parents, as well as getting to know our new little Raiders and families! Don’t hesitate to reach out if you need anything! We are looking forward to awesome RAIDER VIBES this year at Sunnyvale Elementary!

SISD has partnered with School Cafe for cafeteria payments!

With School Cafe, you can apply for free and reduced meal plans, manage your Raider's lunch balance and check out nutrition information. It's easy!

The School Cafe app will be available in the Sunnyvale ISD App!

Click on the School Cafe Set Up Quick Card to set up your Raider's new lunch account! All students who wish to pay for lunch using their student account number must register with School Cafe.
