Welcome to Women's Month!

A month to celebrate and empower young girls! We will continue to learn about the contributions made by women. Thank you to our upper elementary team for leading this awareness month.

With Common Assessments 3 set to begin after spring break, we want to make sure that students are prepared and recharged!

Spring Break is only 2 days away!!!! Take that time to unplug and be with your family and friends.

Dealey Parents,

Yesterday, we had a zoom meeting for Middle School choice sheets. (electives)

The link above is a recording from last night. Please feel free to view it for more information on electives for next year. Middle school choice sheets for 5th-7th grade students are due by 3:45pm today. Students have been working with teachers today to complete this on time.

Please review this form together with the choice sheet document and fill it out by March 8, 2023. Courses will be assigned to students in a first-come first-served order, so complete this form as soon as possible. As you are deciding on the courses you would like to take, reference the Course Descriptions sheet.

This Friday, NJHS raised over $1600 dollars from two events they planned! Controlled chaos was a blast! 6th, 7th, and 8th graders had tons of fun with their friends! Movie night was also a big success! Many Dealey families came to the gym and watched The Lion King! There are so many people who helped this happen! Thanks to NJHS for planning these events, specifically the controlled chaos/movie night committee! A huge thank you to Ms Tindel, Ms. Whidby, Ms. Singer, Ms Davila, and Mr Kaufman! And, of course, we appreciate everyone who came on Friday, bought movie night tickets, bought pizza, or bought snacks! We hope to see you there next time!

African American Studies Living Museum

So proud of the work Mrs. Robinson's class did this past week. The students were able to share their research with our students and made it a fun experience for all. Ms. Robinson and her team of students are working on digital portfolios. This will allow everyone an opportunity to see the Living Museum in class. We also are talking through what this event can look like for next year!

Every school day counts in a child's academic life... A missed school day is a lost opportunity for students to learn. Our campus attendance went up to 97.36%

The highest percentage of attendance among the grade levels will have the opportunity to wear jeans with a Dealey or College shirt on Thursday. Congratulations to 3rd grade with 97.91%! You may wear jeans on Thursday with a Dealey spirit or college shirt.
