Principal's Message
Hello Panther Families,
We're excited to announce our annual fundraising campaign for our local YMCA! "The Y connects kids to their potential, purpose and each other so they can shape the communities of tomorrow, today." Gates:
School gates close promptly at 9am in order to secure the campus and support student learning. All parents and family members must be off campus by that time. Thank you.
Volunteers:
If you volunteer in a classroom, make sure you have clearance from Irene Lemos, secretary, in order to adhere to the district guidelines. As a reminder, you can volunteer for one hour in the classroom and one hour with prep work and copies for a maximum of two hours per week.
Student Learning:
As a friendly reminder, to minimize disrupting student learning and required academic instructional minutes, students who forget their lunch can get their lunch from the cafeteria (it is free this school year). All other forgotten items can wait until the following day. Also, per our District Wellness Policy, no sodas or caffeinated drinks are permitted on campus. Thank you for supporting our students learning and wellness environment.
Perfect Attendance class competition this quarter! The top two primary grade (TK-2) and top two upper grade (3-6) classes with the highest attendance average will receive a free McDonald's Happy Meal lunch at School on Friday, March 21st. ππ

VAPA Week...February 3-7 πΆππ
Students will attend their P.E. and Music classes this week.
Earthquake Drill...February 5 ππ
Students will practice in the classroom what to do during an earthquake while at school.
Castle Park to Visit with 6th Graders...February 6 ππ«π
The administrative team from Castle Park Middle School will visit Parkview to present information regarding their middle school experience. This information is for all students, whether or not they will be attending Castle Park MS.
Panther Pride Assembly...Friday, February 7 @ 8:50am ππΎ
This weekly assembly is only for students and staff. As a reminder, please drop off your student in the auditorium and make your way off campus. We are ensuring a safe campus. Our Noon Duty supervisor team monitors the students for safety.
