June 24, 2025
Dear TUFSD Families and Staff,
We are now in the final week of the academic year. I want to take a moment to reflect on all we’ve accomplished together and to share our heartfelt congratulations with our students and families.
To our graduating students — we are incredibly proud of all you’ve achieved. Your hard work, determination, and growth have brought you to this exciting milestone, and we wish you every success on the road ahead. Know that you carry with you the strength of our community and the support of all those who’ve cheered you on along the way.
To our students moving up to new grades and schools — congratulations! Each step forward is something to be celebrated, and we can’t wait to see all the wonderful things you will continue to do.
To our staff — thank you for your tireless commitment, creativity, and care. Your efforts have made a lasting impact on the lives of your students.
And to everyone — we wish you a restful, safe, and joyful summer. May it be filled with laughter, learning, and time to recharge.
Sincerely,
Dr. Raymond Sanchez

School Supplies
Every year the Horsemen PTA partners with School Toolbox so you don't have to leave your house to order school supplies. Simply go to www.schooltoolbox.com and search the school your child will be attending. You can delete items you already have and add items you need, but the lists are the items required by the district for each grade. Supplies SHIP to HOME. Place orders by mid August to ensure delivery before school starts.
(***Please note TAPPAN families must search W.L. Morse for the 1st grade lists, even though you are attending Tappan).
Join Our Team!
The Public Schools of the Tarrytowns are seeking reliable, safety-minded individuals to transport students safely to and from school. As a school bus driver, you’ll play a vital role in our community while enjoying a rewarding career.
School Rebate Program
The Horsemen PTA is asking everyone to link their Decicco's and Sons card to the Horsemen PTA. By doing so the Horsemen PTA will receive money that we can be used to support our schools, just by shopping and swiping your card!
Please see attached flyer for details and make sure to look for Horsemen PTA on the drop-down list.
