College and Career Newsletter
April 2022
From Mrs. Myrick
Juniors: For those juniors who have not completed their After Grad Packet, please get that turned in ASAP. The last 6 weeks are going to fly by and I want to be able to meet with each and every one of you before senior year begins!
Senior Parents: Soak it all in! The last 6 weeks of having a high school senior are here! This time of year can be stressful, so please do not hesitate to reach out. I am happy to help support your families in whatever way I can!!
Junior Parents: I am putting the college season process completely in your student's hands now! I have let your students know in each of my college meetings that I am happy to meet as much or as little as they prefer and be as involved in essays/resumes/applications as they want, but this process is officially theirs. I want to begin to make them more comfortable reaching out for support/help and advocating for themselves like they will in college. I am here to support in the best way I can for each student, but I know that looks different for every family. Please let me know if there is a specific way I can be of help to make this season as easy and non-stressful as possible :)
As always, feel free to come by my office and chat, email, or schedule an appointment if you have any questions!
Mrs. M
