This Month's Panther Focus: "Kindness"
Dear Families,
Thank you for your continued support of PV!
We wrapped up February with many celebrations...
On Tuesday night, the PV Newspaper Club was the spotlight at the Board meeting. In true PV fashion, our students showcased their inclusive spirit by celebrating other student groups in their presentation, including Girls on the Run, Peer Mediators, Student Council, and the Boys’ Running Club. Another special highlight was when a former PV student—who had recently been on Shark Tank—presented after them and took the time to give all of our students his autograph. It was such an inspiring moment!
Last night’s Grade 5 concert was spectacular! The auditorium was packed with loved ones as our 5th-grade band, orchestra, and chorus delivered an amazing performance. The joy and celebration in the room made for an unforgettable night, and I couldn’t be prouder of the Class of 2025!
Today, we wrapped up the month by celebrating our Kindness of the Month award recipients. Thank you for reinforcing our core values of Kindness, Respect, Responsibility, and Safety at home. As we enter March, our focus will shift to Respect.
This Sunday is Read Across America, and we’ve already begun reading to classes this week. We will continue into next week and are grateful for the guest readers who have joined us. We also want to remind families that you are always welcome to reach out to your child’s teacher if you’re interested in reading to their class—we love partnering with you in fostering a love of reading!
Finally, Ramadan begins tonight through March 28th. For those who recognize this time, wishing you a peaceful and blessed Ramadan.
Thank you, and have a wonderful weekend!
Sincerely,
Esther & Jenna
