HPE’s Community Night: Celebrating Family and Fun!

Thank you to all of the families, staff, and community members who celebrated Community Night with us at HPE on Friday! We are grateful for the performers, presenters, and volunteers who shared their time and talents with us. Thank you also to those who brought food or beverages to share. If you were unable to donate at the event, you can still make a contribution to help pay for the food, supplies, and entertainment here: https://square.link/u/tDBqUt2N

Thank you!

Read-a-Thon

Highland Park Elementary’s 15th annual Read-a-Thon started Friday Feb 14th! This is not only our biggest fundraiser for our school, but also an effort to promote the love of books and the joy of reading.

You should have received a Read-a-Thon packet in your child’s backpack.

If you did not, contact the office or your child’s teacher.

For the fundraising portion of read a thon, encourage your student(s) to continue collecting pledges, We have a great start at nearly half way to our $10,000 goal. There are prizes for the kids for registering on our fundraising website Fundhub.com, the school identifier is 5defba99a6e7c

For the reading portion of Read a Thon: students should have already started keeping track of their daily minute count. All reading outside of and during school, including reading done for homework AND if someone reads to your child, counts for the Read-a-Thon!

Happy reading everyone!
