Star Wars Halloween - Pumpkin Carving Activity
Calling all pumpkin carvers, artists, and Star Wars lovers: join the Star Wars Halloween Pumpkin Carving Activity! Students are encouraged to carve a pumpkin with any idea or theme from Star Wars, and students will earn points for their house by contributing a pumpkin. Pumpkins should be brought to school on October 30 and will be displayed in Coristine Hall as we turn the dining hall into a far away galaxy for Halloween on October 31. Think about your ideas, and sign up to participate via this Google Form.

We’ll provide the ice, brooms, and hot pizza to fuel your victory (or just your appetite)! Instruction available for beginners! Sign up now before spots melt away!
24 Hours for the Unhoused
From Tuesday, November 12 at 1:00 p.m. to Wednesday, November 13 at 1:00 p.m., students taking part in 24 Hours for the Unhoused will engage in workshops hosted by Resilience MTL, Bread and Beyond and Dans la Rue, and will spend the evening sleeping at Selwyn House in the West Yard (under supervision). Students will be encouraged to reflect on their experience, discuss lessons learned, and consider how this event changed their perspective on houselessness. We ask that participants bring a “Soup and Socks” donation, which will be given directly to Dans la Rue or the Stepping Up organization. We also invite our Selwyn House community to contribute new socks or cans of soup—the more, the better! More details to come for how all community members can donate! If you are interested in participating, please complete this application form.
