Goooooood evening Marlow Families --
I am thrilled to share that our annual Pumpkin Lighting event was a wonderful success, thanks to your enthusiastic participation and support! The evening was filled with joy as we gathered to celebrate the magic of the fall season, and coming together as a school community after Hurricane Helene.
From the decorated hallways, games, hayride and s'mores, to the laughter and excitement shared by our students, families, and staff, it truly was a memorable night.
We owe a huge thank you to our AMAZING Marlow PTO and the volunteers who dedicated their time to make this event run smoothly. Your hard work brought every detail to life, and it showed!!
To our families and students, thank you for being part of this celebration. Watching our community come together and create lasting memories is what makes Glenn Marlow Elementary so special. Your smiles, creative costumes, and laughter were the highlights of the evening!
Two notes remain as it relates to the aftermath of Hurricane Helene and Marlow Elementary:
- Yes, we are still experiencing issues with our regular phone lines. If you need to contact the school, please use this temporary number (828) 451-8716. We will keep you updated as more information becomes available.
- Yes, Marlow Elementary is still under a 'Boil Water Advisory', so our water fountains and bottle fillers are still taped up. Not to worry - We have plenty of bottled water on site for student and staff use, and everyone has been great adjusting to this temporary challenge.
Halloween is this Thursday, Oct. 31st. Just a reminder that costumes are not allowed to be worn at school on this day. We hope everyone has a fun-filled and safe Halloween night!!
Be well,
John
