Our final exam schedule is now posted on our school website.

Exams will be given the week of December 16. If you would like for your child to be able to leave early each day after exams, you will need to send a signed note each day that you would like for the student to be able to leave. The note must be signed and dated with a parent phone number included. This note will be the student’s pass out of the building.

If your student has been absent from school and you would like the absence to be excused, you must send a note stating the reason for the absence. If students are absent next week, these absences can affect exam exemption status. If your child is absent, please send a note with the reason for the absence.

Clubs are now meeting daily during Pirate Time. We encourage all students to get involved in at least one club or student organization.

While we await more direction on parent access, you can view grades and schedule through the Student Portal. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to implement this statewide change.

📣 Welcome to the Team, Sandra "Sandy" Standley, M.Ed.! 🎉

We’re thrilled to introduce our new high school counselor, Sandy Standley! 🌟 Here’s a little about her:

✨ Hometown: Pittsburgh, PA (Go Steelers & Pens!)
✨ Education: Graduate of VCU and RMC 🏀 (Fun fact: Sandy played D3 basketball!)
✨ Experience: 16 years in K-12 schools across public, private, and charter settings.

Family & Fun
🏡 Sandy and her husband Rob (25 years strong!) moved to NC in 2004.
👨‍👩‍👦‍👦 They have three grown-and-flown sons.
✈️ Travel enthusiast: Germany, Spain, Portugal, and soon, Italy!
