As Thanksgiving approaches, I want to take a moment to share how grateful I am for our incredible WSTA community—and for the warm welcome I’ve received as your new principal. It’s been such a joy reconnecting with familiar faces and getting to know so many new ones.

To our families, thank you for trusting us with your kids and for your continued support. Your partnership means so much and truly helps us provide the best possible experience for your children.

To our amazing Wright teachers and staff, I see the dedication and care you bring to your work every day. The commitment to your students’ success and well-being is truly admirable, and I feel fortunate to work alongside such passionate educators.

School Site Councils provide a platform for families and school staff to collaborate and share their perspectives, fostering a stronger school community. Everyone is welcome to attend our meetings! If you're interested in joining or would like more information about becoming a member, please fill out the WSTA School Site Council Interest form below.

We're excited to launch the Family Engagement Team at the Wright Academy! This team will help plan and host events to connect our school, families, and students outside of regular school hours. Whether you’d like to organize, share ideas, or support events, we’d love for you to join us!

We encourage all families to have open conversations with their students about the risks of vapes and e-cigarettes.

In a few months, we will be offering workshops on the harmful effects of these products—please stay tuned for more information if you're interested in joining us. In the meantime, we are sharing visuals of these products to help you recognize them and guide your conversations with your students.
