The National Honor Society is holding a charity trivia night on February 8th from 6:00-7:30. The tickets will be $5.00 a person, and we are encouraging students, staff, and families to come!

All the funds from the tickets will go to Connecticut Children's Medical Center

The teams can be up to five people, but people can play individually as well. It will be a fun time for all!

Your ticket price will include a snack and drink as well. Prizes will be awarded to the top teams!

Are you interested in a career in the healthcare field? Apply to our Allied Health program! Students gain real-world experience through a series of job shadowing field trips at local hospitals AND earn college credit at UConn.

There will be an informational meeting about the Allied Health program on Friday, Feb. 9th during ALL LUNCH WAVES. Bring your lunch to the Career Center and learn more about this exciting opportunity. Applications will be handed out at the meeting and will be due on February 15th.

he Rockville High School Musical Theater Company is proud to announce that tickets are NOW ON SALE for their March 1-3 production of the ABBA hit musical: "Mamma Mia!"

Mamma Mia (the musical) features AMAZING Vocals, Acting, choreography and a fabulous set that will take you across the ocean to Mykonos Greece. This musical will feature a LIVE professional rock band with broadway musicians and one of our very own staff members on keyboard.

Mrs. Bonaddio's English classes will be learning about the 1920's this quarter. They started their unit interviewing staff and students about their knowledge of the decade.

AH students got to learn all about the operating room and becoming a surgical tech.

Senior Grace Dehnel was published in the 2024 edition of The Apprentice Writer, a literary journal of poems, stories, and personal essays by high school students from across the nation. In its forty-first year, this magazine is edited and published by the Susquehanna University Writers Institute.

At the January meeting of the International Club students listened to RHS Senior, Katherine Larson share about Epiphany and Three King's Day celebrations around the world.

8th grade open house was a huge success thanks to our current students sharing their RHS experiences! Thank you again for all of your help with making our 8th Grade Open House a great event. We had over 220 parents and students visiting RHS on January 25th.

Congratulations to all the seniors that completed their Capstone Presentations! This is a huge accomplishment. Teachers and staff enjoyed attending these and learning more about our senior class. The Vernon and RHS community has been positively impacted because of all of your projects.

NHS hosted a study party with cocoa and cookies right before midterm exams! It was a great environment to study, relax, and prepare for exams.

Spring will be here soon. Go to the athletics website to register. We offer boys volleyball, golf, outdoor track & field, boys and girl lacrosse, boys and girls tennis, softball & baseball in the spring. Spring sports being on 3/16.

The registration deadline for the spring is March 3rd.
