January is School Board Appreciation Month, and we are proud to recognize the dedicated members of Winneconne's Board of Education. These individuals give their time, energy, and expertise to ensure our students receive the highest quality education possible.
Our school board members represent the voice of our community in shaping the vision, policies, and goals of our district. Their commitment to supporting students, staff, and families is unwavering. WCSD Students Shine on TV
Did you catch our students and staff on the local news? NBC 26 featured a wonderful story about our special education students making a difference in the community through volunteering and learning life skills. It’s amazing to see their hard work and dedication recognized!
A huge thank-you to Mercedes Zabel and Nicole LeDioyt, 6-12+ Special Education Teachers, and their incredible team for creating and supporting these opportunities for our students. Their commitment to fostering local partnerships will have a lasting impact on both our students and the community.

Help Wanted: Elementary Kitchen Substitute Needed!
Do you have a few hours to spare during the day? Our elementary school kitchen is looking for a friendly and reliable substitute to help out from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
- Preferred Schedule: Monday - Friday
- Flexible: We’d love to have you for all five days, but we’re happy to work with your availability!

NORBERT RICH SCHOOL FOREST
Our trails are open each day from dawn until dusk. Come and hike and walk and enjoy our beautiful forest as long as no school groups are present. Open for all ages!

School Board Meetings
School Board Meeting Agendas are available via THIS LINK the Thursday or Friday prior to each board meeting. Board meetings begin at 6:30 PM and are held on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month unless otherwise designated. You may attend in person or watch virtually at https://www.youtube.com/winneconne
The next meeting is scheduled for Monday, January 20, 2024. It will be located in the Winneconne High School's Large Group Lecture Room.
Community Conversations
The Board of Education has heard that our community members/families would like to sit down and chat with a few board members - have a casual conversation about school/community issues. All are welcome to attend. The meetings are as follows:
Wednesdays, 6:30-7:30PM. Location has yet to be determined

At this time there is no formal agenda - just conversation. However, if at a meeting people would like to learn more about a topic, we can certainly be ready to share at a future meeting.
