Important Updates from Hull Elementary School
From Mr. Cagle
Hello Hero families!
Happy November!
Can you believe that October is over already?? At least we are getting that break in the weather...right?
We were fortunate enough to have some amazing events last week.
First up was our Day of Awesomeness! This event was made possible by everyone's much appreciated participation in our Step it Up fundraiser. We had a DJ and 9 inflatable activities for the kids to play with. Everyone had a great time! Thanks to all of the parents that were able to come on out and volunteer at the event. We appreciate you!
Trunk or Treat was held in the parking lot last Friday. We had 25 trunks, a food truck, popcorn, candy, DJ, Haunted House, and a Haunted Bus! Not only that, but we had some pretty spectacular costumes as well. To all of our amazing trunk volunteers, thanks so much for putting in the time to make your spot so fun and engaging. Thanks to our entire community for donating almost 700 pounds of candy for the event. Basha High ROTC was on hand to assist with the set up, clean up, and even got involved in the Haunted House and Bus. What a great group of students. Finally, thank you to our PTO for putting in all of the long hours planning, coordinating, and running this amazing and fun night!
Finally, you may have seen the message I sent out earlier in the week, but if you didn't... Hull Elementary is an A school! The letter grades from the Arizona Department of Education were finalized and published. Due to our students' hard work, our teachers dedication, and our community support, Hull Elementary rose to the occasion and earned an A grade. Great job everyone, I am so proud of all your efforts.
Sincerely,
Mr. Cagle
Tech and Media in Full Swing!
Mrs. Frechette and Mrs. Clemente were able to officially move into their new spaces this week! Our kids will now be attending library IN the library and technology in our new tech and engineering space. Everyone is very excited about getting a chance to be in the new space. Below are photos of our 4th graders getting a lesson in where everything is in the library. Our 3rd graders are learning how to code and operate their Sphero robots, while our 5th and 6th graders are working on creating sustainable communities and schools!
