Bay Principal's Newsletter
October 2024
Message From Ms. Bridget Wallace:
Being from the east coast, this is my favorite time of year. I love everything apple and pumpkin flavored and scented, as well as the cooler sweater weather. Thank you to all of you who were able to attend a conference with your child's teacher last week. I hope you gained insight on your child's strengths and areas in need of improvement, as well as some ways you can support your child's learning at home. Family relationships are very important to us, so please know you can always ask to meet with your child's teacher and/or me any time throughout the year, not only during conference week.
Seeking 1 More Parent for Bay School Site Council
The School Site Council is the team that meets to discuss how we spend our funding and how we're doing on school goals. We meet on Zoom 6 times/year at 5:30-6:15pm (sometimes end earlier) prior to the 6:30pm PTA meetings (10/9, 11/13, 1/8, 3/5, 4/2, 4/30). Please email Principal Wallace at bwallace@slzusd.org if you are willing to serve on SSC.
Join Ms. Wallace for Coffee on Monday, 9/30!
Check Your Child's Water Bottles!
Be sure to regularly clean your child's reusable water bottle. Our caring Campus Safety Assistants who supervise students in the Cafeteria and at Recess have opened some like this and have found mold. Yuck!
