The Snow Forecast #12
December 15, 2024
Thank you to all families who grabbed a "book" teacher wishlist during conference time and returned the items! They are greatly appreciated and help our classrooms out with teaching.
We had quite a box of donated dog (and one cat) toys to bring to the Bangor Humane Society. Thank you to those who brought something in! We had a visit from Pops last week, and his people, who talked with classes about ways to volunteer or ways to help out the Humane Society. They plan on coming back to visit with other classes in the future.
Juice Box Donations
For our movie afternoon this coming Friday, any juice box donations would be greatly appreciated! Students have the option to get a juice to go with their popcorn as they watch the movie.

Attendance Matters!
Research has shown that attendance really matters in a student's school year. The Department of Education keeps track and we send home letters each month for those who are in danger of being chronically absent (10% or more of a school year). As a school, our goal each month is 95% or greater. Here is the attendance for the last 2 weeks:
GRADE 4:
Week of 12/2- 92.9%
Week of 12/9- 91.4%
GRADE 5:
Week of 12/2- 91.7%
Week of 12/9- 92.7%
Please send your child to school- it is very important, so they keep up with the subjects being taught at in each grade.
