Mustang Memo Quarter 1 Week 8

We want to thank you all for coming to Parent Teacher Conferences. As a staff our goal was to connect with 100% of our families and we are almost there! If you did not get a chance to meet with your student's teacher there is still time. Please reach out and schedule a conference that works best for you! We can always find coverage and work with your schedule. During your conferences, the teacher should have shared valuable classroom data and given you an idea of where your students are starting the year. Our goal this year is for every student to grow emotionally and academically. We will be setting goals and reflecting on our learning often. Your students should have clarity about their learning. Asking your student what they are learning and why is an easy way to see that they are engaged and taking ownership of their learning. As we wrap up our Quarter we have some exciting events, rockstars, and one more Mustang of the Month. Thank you for your support and helping our Mustangs RIDE respectfully together to success!

The after school program is underway and students are working on our first project, playing games, and having time to run and play. We are working on a daily schedule to send out. This will be an opportunity for families to sign up for specific classes each day at a different cost. We hope to offer something for each of our students to enrich their Miller experience.

Make sure athletes have comfortable running shoes, sunscreen and a water bottle

Parents are responsible for taking athletes to and from meets.

Students may still participate in practice if they cannot attend the meets.

Flag football is wrapping up! Our 3rd, 4th and 5th graders have learned many skills and have improved all season. We are excited to start the championships with our first game at Miller against Safford! Come cheer on our Mustangs!
