Elementary School

Before we embark on summer adventures there's a few reminders we would like to share with our CAP families:

1. Students have received their summer workbook and forms that need to be completed and turned in on the first day of school. 8th Grade students need to complete their summer reading by their 1st day of High School.
2. Attendance is a crucial part of our students' academic success and they are expected to come to school regularly until the last day of school.
3. Students are expected to be in full uniform with all academic materials, including book bags, daily.
   

Below is a link to our Academic Calendar for the 2024-2025 school year. It contains important dates, such as, the uniform swap, orientations, first day of school, back to school night, our testing dates, and report card conferences. Please refer to this calendar to stay informed on what is occurring at CAP during the school year and when planning family vacations so your student is not missing out on instructional time.

CAP participates in the federal Community Eligibility Provision (CEP). CEP is a provision from the Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act of 2010 which allows schools and local educational agencies (LEAs) with high poverty rates to provide free breakfast and lunch to all students. CEP eliminates the burden of collecting household applications to determine eligibility for school meals, relying instead on information from other means-tested programs such as the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program and Temporary Assistance for Needy Families.
