Ohio State Testing
All students in grades 3-5 will take the Ohio State Test in ELA and Math on April 10, 11, 16 and 18. Grade 5 will take the Ohio State Test in Science on April 23 and 24. Please make sure that your child gets to school on time as we start testing at 9:00A. It is also important that your child gets enough sleep and is ready to do their best. Students should bring their fully charged chromebooks to school on these days as well. All tests, with the exception of the 3rd grade ELA test, are taken online.
The teachers are working with the students on a Golden Ticket that will let them into the movie treat we will have on April 26 when testing is complete. The ticket outlines their commitment to do well on the test and three goals that will help them. The students have worked really hard this year and we want the test to reflect what they know how to do. Thank you for your help in reinforcing this with them!
The District has adopted a plan for communications with persons with disabilities, which is available at the following link: Communication Plan. The plan establishes procedures to ensure that the District's communications with persons with disabilities, including applicants, participants, members of the public, and companions with disabilities, are as effective as its communications with others.
