5/3/24 Newsletter
Dear Vernon Community,
Next week is National Teacher Appreciation Week. However, at Vernon, we believe that every member of our team plays a crucial role in nurturing our students—from custodians and counselors to nutrition services, front office staff, community organizers, teachers, and administrators. To honor this collective effort, we're excited to declare it All Vernon Staff Appreciation Week.
We encourage everyone to share heartfelt messages expressing gratitude for the daily impact our staff has on our students' lives. Whether it’s a note, a card, or a small token of appreciation, let’s make sure our staff feels recognized and valued.
Our wonderful PTA is organizing daily meals for all staff members throughout the week. To make this a success, we invite you to contribute by signing up here: With your help, we can provide breakfast on Monday and Tuesday, and lunch from Wednesday to Friday.
Let’s make this week memorable for our dedicated staff at Vernon!

Dear Vernon Community,
It’s time to start getting excited for Owl Fest! June 1st is coming up quickly and we’re goin to need a lot of hands on deck for the day of the event!
We’ve broken shifts down to 1 to 1.5 hours so families can enjoy the event AND help out! It’s going to take a village, but oh, the fun!
Thanks!
