We had an incredible time celebrating our community’s diversity at International Night this past Wednesday! The performances, food, crafts, and games truly highlighted the rich cultures within our school. Thank you to all the families who supported and joined us for this fantastic evening.
Interim Progress Reports
Interim progress reports will be sent home with all students on November 18. As a reminder, you can also check your child’s current grades anytime through the PowerSchool Parent Portal. Please note there may be a 24-48 hour delay for grades to sync with Canvas. If you need help with your PowerSchool account, feel free to reach out to our attendance office.
Parent Advisory Meeting - November 20
Our next Parent Advisory Meeting will be held on November 20 at DMIS at 5:00 pm. We’ll start with a short student performance and then move into presentations from our department leaders on what daily instruction looks like in reading, math, and science. We’ll also share strategies for supporting student learning at home. This is a great opportunity to ask questions and learn more about academic supports!
Headphones/Technology Reminder
Students use various educational programs on their Chromebooks that require audio. Any student is welcome to bring in their own wired headphones (must plug into the Chromebook; no Bluetooth, please) if preferred. We are also having many students come to school without their Chromebooks charged. Please encourage your student to charge them at home each night as they need them for learning throughout the day.
