The Oak Ridge School hosted its first-ever Ultimate, Ultimate, Ultimate Competition, an exciting event where each grade level competed in five secret challenges revealed to students on Friday. The challenges were a fun way for students to showcase their skills in engineering, art, poetry, math, and music, fostering creativity and critical thinking. Congratulations to the winning homerooms: Ms. LeClair & Mrs. Ramsey (Grade 3), Mrs. Black & Mrs. Young (Grade 4), Mrs. Greer (Grade 5), and Mrs. Stanton (Grade 6). Students thoroughly enjoyed the competition, showcasing their talents and teamwork throughout the event.

A special congratulations is in order to the winners of this year's "Poetry Out Loud" poetry slam this week at Sandwich Middle High School. In third place was junior Madison Sullivan, in second, junior Breanna Prindle, and in first with his dramatic rendition of Edgar Allen Poe's "The Conqueror Worm" was junior Cam Phillips. Job well done! And hats off to all of the students who participated... you are talented and brave!
