Hello Behlau families,

We had a fun-filled October here at Behlau! Thank you for your support with all of our events.

Currently, we have our Behlau PTA Boosterthon Fundraiser happening. Your help is so critical for our students to attend Field Trips and to help support our teachers!

Please take some time to read the newsletter and take a look at our counselor and librarian newsletters attached. There are great things happening in November!

Please bring our bulldogs to school everyday! We have seen an increase in absences overall, as well as tardies. Our students learn so much everyday. When they are not here, it really pushes them behind quickly. Keep in contact with your child's teacher and call our office if there is anything we can do to help.

November is a time to be thankful! We are truly grateful for our Behlau parents, students, and community!

The Boosterthon Obstacle Fundraiser Event will be on Friday, Nov 8th:

8:00 am 2nd-3rd graders

9:00 Headstart, Kinder, PK, and 1st graders

10:00 4th-5th graders

*parents are welcome to attend during your child's time

Please join us for our Veterans Day Program on Monday, November 11th at 8:15 am. Our Veterans are invited to attend breakfast before the program at 7:30 am in our Library.

Please send in pictures of veterans to Gloria.Zarate@nisd.net and include the name of the Veteran as well as the branch that they served, and which Behlau student they are related to or a friend of. We will create a slideshow of veterans for our program.

Look for the Veterans Day Wall of Honor paper coming home on Monday, Nov 4th!

We would like to provide all of our Behlau staff members with an hour lunch so that we can sit down together for a Thanksgiving meal. We are asking for your help to cover classrooms during this time.
