Homecoming 2024

This Special Edition Newsletter contains all the info you will need to know for our Homecoming Dance.

Attention: Please do not transfer any homecoming tickets to other students in GoFan. This will result in a student not being able to enter the homecoming dance. If you have questions please email Amy.Benson@gcpsk12.org

Please review the Homecoming Lesson we used during 8th period on Friday and also watch the video below.

Entry

• Doors open at 7:30 PM.
• All students will show their ID or student portal at the door to enter the dance. A screenshot of their student ID is preferred.
• All Non-Seckinger Guests MUST be accompanied by a Seckinger High School student upon entry. The guest MUST also show a photo ID.
  
• NO RE-ENTRY
• All Bags MUST comply with our Seckinger Clear Bag Guidelines (below).

Dress Code

• Wear formal/semi-formal attire.
• Attire must comply with the spirit of the Seckinger High School dress code.

Parking

• All student drivers should park on the side of the building in the side parking lot.
• If limos/vans are used, they may park on the side of the school after dropping off in the front bus lanes.
  

Drop-Off Procedures

• All students must be dropped-off at the front of the building in the bus lanes. Please pull forward to the front entrance doors. See map below.

Pick-Up Procedures

• All students should be picked up by 10:30 PM at the designated exit points.
• Freshmen & Juniors will exit at the FRONT of the building. See map below.
• Sophomores & Seniors will exit at the BACK of the building. See map below.
• All students leaving the dance prior to 10:15 PM will be picked up in the front of the building.

The Homecoming Court will be presented and the King and Queen will be announced during our Homecoming Dance.

Dance Hours

The dance will be open from 7:30 PM to 10:30 PM. Please make plans to arrive after 7:30 and be picked up by 10:30. Doors will not open until 7:30 PM. Please do not drop students off prior to 7:20 PM.

Guest Information

• Each Seckinger student may only bring ONE ticketed guest. All guests must be 20 or younger. No middle school students are allowed.

If you are bringing a guest who DOES NOT attend Seckinger High School...

• You must purchase your student ticket as well as a guest ticket through Gofan.co. The cutoff to purchase tickets is Thursday, 9/5 at 11:59pm.
• If you wish to bring a guest who does not attend Seckinger High School, please purchase a "non-SKG student" ticket for that person and give them the guest form to have completed at their school. Completed guest forms must be returned to Mrs. Benson in T426 no later than Tuesday, September 3.
