Tau Beta Sigma - Zeta Omega

On March 19, we initiated our four membership candidates -Cassie, Maggie, Talya and Chole - into Tau Beta Sigma. After having a busy weekend finishing up their interviews, completing their service project and passing their final, we were joined by some of our alumni to help welcome them into our sisterhood. Congrats to our newly initiated sisters and thanks to all the people who joined us to help complete and celebrate 3rd Degree!

Over spring break, several sisters traveled up to Iowa State University of the 2017 Midwest District Convention. During our time there, we got to meet sisters and brothers from around the district while also attending committees, workshops and participating in a reading band. We also got to watch our recent alum, Joe, finish up his term serving as president of the Midwest District. During the banquet, he awarded The Baton, the highest Tau Beta Sigma award that is given to student members for leadership. Congratulations Joe, and thanks to the Theta Xi chapter of Tau Beta Sigma and the Iota Omega chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi for hosting convention!

The Saturday before initiation, the Alpha Sigma class joined the chapter in the uniform room to help sort things and clean up a little before the uniforms go to the cleaners. With their help, we finished up two projects - counting t-shirts and polos and organizing raincoats by size - got a good start to everything we need to get done before uniform fittings next August.
