Thank you!

Thank you for returning your child's technology! Many of the classes use them daily, so we appreciate having them back and in good shape. Thank you, too, to the parents who completed the survey to let us know how E-Learning went from your perspective.

On Monday our wildcats celebrate Valentine's Day. Please remember the District's food policy in that nothing from outside of the building can be brought and shared. I know some of the valentines come with candy, but we will need to send it back home with your student.

Drop Off and Pick up:

Please remember that the safety of our students is most important. For that reason, we have routines that we really need all of our grown ups to follow. If you have a special adult who wouldn't normally receive these reminders, please share them. (Thank you to the parent who posted them on Mom's and Dad's recently)

There's no double parking- students can't walk in between the cars safely
Pulling all the way down moves the line faster. Your wildcat can handle walking from any drop spot. When you stop at the end, you block the cars behind you and create unsafe lane changing.
No U-Turn signs are posted on both side of Willow. They apply all the time.
There are several areas that have signage for no parking. Please check them before leaving your vehicle.
Only cars driving westbound down Willow should pull onto the parking pads. Eastbound cars should never cut across traffic and be facing east on the parking pads.
First bell in the morning is 8AM. If your child arrives after 8:05 AM, he/she is tardy and needs to be signed in at the office. We have a lot of cars and a lot of wildcats getting in and out. Plan your driving time accordingly.
Please be respectful of staff and other parents. We are role models for the kids- all the time.

Two's-day:

This month also has Twos-day. February 22, 2022.... and it's on a Tuesday! We've been thinking about how to make this a fun dress up day for students. So here we go: ties, tutus, tennis shoes and twins

Book blurb: " And the People Stayed Home"

And the People Stayed Home, a poem written by Kitty O’Meara during the lockdown of March 2020, quickly went viral online. This wonderfully written and illustrated book came about due to the positive personal responses she received on her personal Facebook page. This book is available for checkout at the Homewood Public Library.
