Congratulations to our Spring Sing Participants

We had five students sing at the Peace Center last Tuesday, April 8th for the annual Spring Sing event. They joined together with students throughout the district for this special event! Congratulations!

Hurricane Helene Make-Up Day

Greenville County Schools will make up the second of three days missed from Hurricane Helene using a self-paced, asynchronous (no live instruction) eLearning on Friday, April 18th. Students and teachers will not need to be online for these makeup days; teachers will provide students with assignments that can be completed within five school days upon return to school. Details about how self-paced, asynchronous eLearning will be conducted, the complete plan for making up days, and other FAQs can be found on the Greenville County Schools website.

Fork Shoals teachers will be sending work home for this second make-up day (April 18th) in Wednesday folders this week (April 16th). Students may complete the work at any time they can and turned in by April 25th for students to receive attendance credit for the first make-up day.

Evolv Weapons Detection System

Last Monday, a this Backpack message was sent from the district announcing the addition of Evolv screenings at elementary schools. This message included a link to the student video for parents to preview. Learn more at the Safety and Security page of the GCS website.
