Principals' Message
Thank you to all who participated in this week’s parent-teacher conferences! We appreciate your ongoing support and the opportunity to connect about your child’s progress. It’s always wonderful to see the partnership between families and teachers in action.
We also have some exciting events coming up: On March 27, Echo will be hosting a STEM festival, providing students with fun, hands-on activities in science, technology, engineering, and math. The following day, March 28, is Spirit Day—students are invited to wear our school colors, blue and gold, to celebrate BPS pride.
We would also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the volunteers and parents who helped make our ski program such a success. This winter, approximately 250 first through fourth graders participated in snowboarding, downhill skiing, and nordic skiing for a total of 10 ski days! Your time and dedication are truly appreciated, and we look forward to hearing your feedback later this spring when we send out a feedback form.
Finally - there is no school on Friday due to parent-teacher conferences.
With appreciation,
Sarah & Chris

Measles Update
Measles is a highly contagious respiratory virus that can be dangerous, especially for babies and young children. Measles is almost entirely preventable with vaccines. Two doses of MMR vaccine are about 97% effective at preventing measles; one dose is about 93% effective. There are currently two measles outbreaks in the United States. Measles is also common in some countries, so make sure you’re protected against measles, especially before traveling. If you are unsure about your child’s vaccination status, you can contact your primary care provider or your school nurse.
You can read more facts about measles here.
