Families,

What a fun day we had on Wednesday celebrating summer reading with Water Day! We are so proud of all our summer readers! Keith Booth, Caroline Biggerstaff, and Cora Addis earned over 1,000 minutes on Lexia Core 5 over the summer, so they got a chance to help the firefighters soak their friends. Check out this great video with lots of pictures from the day!

Mr. John Frye, District Communication Specialist, visited our school last week to take video for our website. If you haven't checked out the website lately, you will want to see the new video here. There are other news articles and Social Media posts available. Also, the Community Bulletin Board gets updated regularly with flyers submitted by various groups.

Our Mumkin and Mumster sale is going on now through September 17th. They are a great way to decorate your house for the fall and proceeds will go towards our PBIS reward events and Brag Tags.

Lastly, Kenyon volunteers started joining us again last week. It's always amazing to me how generous these students are with their time, and our students greatly benefit from them helping in the classrooms.

Mumkins and Mumsters Sale

The Fall Mumkin and Mumsters Sale is up and running! Parents should check their email for their students unique shopping link to send to friends and family. All sales will be done online through September 17th, and Mums will be delivered Thursday, October 1st.

PTO Corner

Thanks to all that were able to join us at our September Friends of Wiggin Street meeting. The next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, October 1st, at 5:00 pm in the Library. Everyone is welcome!

Art to Remember

"I'm excited to be partnering with Art to Remember this year. Students are beginning to work on projects in Art class that I will be sending to Art to Remember soon. Closer to the end of October parent order forms and information will be coming home and orders can be placed in early November for items that you may want to purchase for your family or family members and friends. The items will arrive before Christmas break to ensure that you will have them to give as gifts if you would like. There is no obligation or pressure to participate but instead, I hope that you find that this is a wonderful opportunity to capture your child's artwork to cherish for years to come!
