A "Message" From the Principal
Dear Parent(s) and Riverview Rams,
April is a time for springing forward and our scholars are doing just that. We have officially entered the 4th quarter of our teaching and learning. At this point, you should have participated in our parent-teacher conferences, received your child’s 3rd quarter report card and be fully aware of the academic standing of your child. We are committed to continuing our work with each of you as we encourage our scholars to finish the year strong. As we round out the year, please be aware of the number of credits that your child should have earned at this point.
· A freshman should have earned at least 3 credits, needing 6 credits total by the end of the year
· A sophomore should have earned at least 9 credits, needing 12 credits total by the end of the year
· A junior should have earned at least 15 credits, needing 18 credits total by the end of the year
· A senior should have earned at least 21 credits, needing 24 credits total by the end of the year. (credits earned must be in the appropriate areas in order to be eligible for graduation)
If you are unsure of where your child stands at this point, please visit our SIS parent portal to determine the academic needs of your child. The counselors will have information regarding summer school for all scholars in need of additional support in the area of credit recovery.
This year has been a true test of our strength and each of you have proven that we are indeed stronger together! Schools across the county have experienced challenges with the transition back to in-person learning. We are thankful for your support in helping us to create a culture of learning and personal growth. We remain committed to each scholar’s success and are here to support you as we work to finish the 2021-2022 school year strong. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to call. Our team can be reached at: 314-869-4700. Thank you in advance for your support in making this school year one of academic and personal success.
