Week of September 27th-October 3rd
Issue #5
“Where faith soars, minds excel, and futures ignite”
- Parent teacher conferences are going to be different this year in a way in which it really is a time to just check in with your child's teachers, talk about the progress they are making, and ask any questions you might have. Middle School parents do not have to schedule conferences with every teacher. If there is a teacher you would like to meet with, you'll sign up with just that teacher. Reminder that Tuesdays conferences are google meet only, and Wednesday will be in person starting at 1pm.
*** Please see the sign up links listed below. ***
Greetings STM-STC Families,
Just a few items this week to discuss and go over. First though just a reminder that this Friday is a Noon Dismissal, and next Friday there is no school for students as it is the AOB PD Day. We have several days off and noon dismissals between now and Christmas break, so please make sure you have them marked somewhere!
- In terms of the new parking scheme for Pre-K-1st, more information is coming. The weather this week through a wrench into our plans of getting the church lot painted. I can not move forward with any changes until that lot has clear cut parking spaces and exit lanes.

- Lunches are a hot topic right now and I have been working with the AOB closely to try and minimize the frequent changes in the menu, and the quality of some of the food/sandwiches that are going out. Most days it is only the cafe manager down there, which is why lunches often get changed. We have been lucky to have parents and spouses of some of our staff come over and help out so we didn't have to change the menu. As you know we are linked with other AOB schools to qualify for free lunch and breakfast, and this is something that this is never fully guaranteed in the future. I would suggest while we work through the issues and process, that if you can pack your child a lunch.
- This is the last week of the family survey, please complete if you have not done so already!
Yours in Christ,
Matt Zipp

Saint Michael the Archangel isn't a saint, but rather he is an angel, and the leader of all angels and of the army of God. This is what the title "Archangel" means, that he is above all the others in rank.
Redemptorist preacher and reformer. Clement preached, built orphanages and schools, and established a vast Redemptorist presence in the city.
