Kindergarten students have been practicing for their graduation ceremony performances. One of the songs they will be singing is "This is the Day."

Kindergarten Graduation will be held on Tuesday, May 22nd at 6:00 PM in the CCS gymnasium.

Daily scripture and life lessons are a part of every morning at CCS! Whether it is from Mr. Yearwood, a teacher, a guest, or student leaders, it is the foundation of everything that we do.

Some of the focus scriptures this week were:

• Romans 10:9-10
• Hebrews 11:1
• John 15:1-4
• Numbers 11:1-14
• Proverbs 15:1-4

You may have noticed... there is a new platform with slides on the playground. Ms. Annadeidra, her family, and some friends who worked last weekend to make this area functional for play time. We are so thankful for their hard work!

These sophomores, Jack Haynes, Zoe Powell, Aby Robertson, and Emma Grace Thompson, stepped out of their comfort zone to interview with the Cullman Area Chamber of Commerce for participation in the Youth Leadership Program next year. This is a great program and we have had several students participate over the years. Our 2023-24 participants have been Evelyn Griffin and Andrew Jones.

Mrs. Warden's music students compete all year long to see who will win the title each year for top house. Congratulations to this year's winner: Jazz!

Mrs. Adams biology students have been learning about the functions of different body systems. This week as they dissected pigs they got a closer look. Pictured here were students studying the digestive system.

Seniors, along with Mrs. Driver and Mr. and Mrs. Yearwood, enjoyed a special luncheon on Thursday with Dr. Swindall. We are thankful Dr. Swindall was able to spend some time with us as we celebrated their upcoming graduation.

Wow! What a great day!

The rain could not stop the fun at Field Day 2024!

It was such a fun day of laughs, smiles, and games. Thank you to our PE coaches for planning such a wonderful day and for all the parents who helped make it possible.

Commencement Exercises will be held on Thursday, May 23rd at 7:00 at Christ Covenant Presbyterian Church.

Each school year we host two major fundraising events. One of them is our Feed the Need project in the fall. The other is our upcoming golf tournament, the CCS Annual Golf Classic. These events help provide the financial stability needed to keep our tuition costs low for our families.

The Golf Classic event is scheduled for Monday, June 24th so it's time for us to begin lining up teams and sponsors. We need your help to spread the word!

Attached you will find two documents: one for team registration and the other for sponsorships. Please feel free to download, post, and distribute to the people you know. You can also direct them to our webpage at cullmanchristian.org/golf-tournament for information and online registration.

The PTF will be having a yard sale over the summer. They are looking for outgrown or gently used uniforms. Donations can be dropped off at the school office starting now. Donations should be washed and free of stains.

If you want to participate in setting up or organizing the yard sale please let Mrs. Candase know.

The varsity coaches and players will be hosting a basketball skills camp for students in grades 2-6 on June 6th and 7th from 1:00-3:00 PM each day in the CCS Gymnasium. The camp will include instruction from varsity coaches and players. Boys and girls are welcome!

The CCS Youth Cheer Sponsor and Varsity Cheerleaders will host a cheer clinic for students in grades 2-6 on June 9th, June 23rd, and July 7th from 2:00-4:00 PM each day in the CCS Gymnasium.
