Traffic and Safety Reminders
We would like to remind everyone about the importance of following the traffic patterns in our parking lot during arrival and dismissal times.
To ensure the safety of all students and families, please adhere to the following guidelines:
- Drop-off Location: If you are using a car, please drop off your child only at the designated side door. Dropping off in the middle of the parking lot or in front of the school is not allowed as it is unsafe.
- Use Crosswalks: Always use the marked crosswalks when crossing the parking lot to keep our students safe.
- Pedestrian Awareness: If you are walking across the street or coming from the business park next door, please be aware of vehicles on North Lamar that may be turning into the parking lot. Give them the right of way to help alleviate traffic on the road.
- Situational Awareness: As a pedestrian, it is crucial to be considerate of the traffic around you and maintain situational awareness. Please do not walk through the parking lot in areas not designated for walking, as this can stop traffic and create unsafe conditions.
- Follow Directions: Our law enforcement is present to keep everyone safe, and it is essential to follow their directions as well as the traffic patterns established by the school.
- Safety Concerns: We have observed an increasing number of parents not following the established traffic patterns. Please remember that children should never be walking the parking lot alone.
Thank you for your cooperation in keeping our school community safe!

Staff Prizes Needed!
As a dedicated leadership team, we strive to create engaging games, activities, and contests for our staff to foster a positive and collaborative environment. To make these events even more exciting, we are in need of prizes! Most recently, we had a Turkey Scavenger hunt around the campus. We were able to award 8 winners with Chuys!
We would greatly appreciate any donations in the form of gift cards from local coffee shops, restaurants, Target, Amazon, or any other retailer. Gift cards of any value are welcome and will go a long way in enhancing our staff's experience. If you would like to contribute, please drop off your gift cards with Kacey Carr, our elementary admin assistant. Thank you for your continued support and generosity!
