El Festival de Otoño de este año está programado para el jueves 24 de octubre. Para poder organizar este divertido evento familiar para las familias de DHES, necesitamos organizadores voluntarios que se encarguen de la planificación y ejecución de una pequeña parte del evento.

Se necesitan organizadores para preparar proyectos de manualidades simples, ayudar a configurar y supervisar el funcionamiento de los juegos de carnaval, configurar el Pasillo Encantado y coordinar y servir alimentos y bebidas para el evento.

School Store

UPDATE: We are still waiting for all students to receive their lanyard prior to students turning in their envelopes to received their furry friend. Thank you for your patience as we work through this minor hiccup!

We wanted to make you aware of an opportunity to support our staff through an online school store. Information will be coming home Monday, October 7th! School Store creates accounts for our staff members and they can receive funds to purchase supplies as they see fit. Signing up is easy, and there are multiple ways to support the school store. Direct donations can be made, or accounts can be linked to everyday purchases families make. At several popular stores (Walmart, Gap, Old Navy), a percentage of your purchases are given back to the school! Look out for the envelope coming home next week.

Halloween Parties

October 31st is always a fun day here at Dundee Highlands. Here are a few reminders about that day:

Students may wear costumes to school. But there should be no weapons, masks, or hoods.
No inflatable costumes please as it should be easy for your child to go to the bathroom independently.
Our costume parade will be at 12:50 PM around the outside of the building and then lead directly into our Halloween parties from 1:00-2:00 PM.
All families are invited to be outside the building for our costume parade. Only parents who have signed up to assist with the party will be permitted to enter the building following the parade.

60th Anniversary

UPDATE: We are ready for your items! Let's see what you got DHES Community! Let's bring it back to the 60's!

In the month of October we are beginning our 60th Anniversary journey. Each month we will be taking a look back at the decades that Dundee Highlands has been open, starting with the 60's, and we need your help! There are so many generations of families in our community and we know that there must be some great artifacts sitting in your attics or basement. So, if you have any fun Dundee Highlands memorabilia from the 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's, and today (This is W-ROCK DHES 99.9), please bring it in to our main office at your earliest convenience! Feel free to spread the news to neighbors and other community members that may have some items to share.
