Congratulations!
Congratulations to Mrs. Bradshaw for being selected as Georgetown County School District's Rookie of the Year! We are so proud of her accomplishments and lucky to have her as a member of the Warrior Family!
PTO Appreciation
We have the most amazing PTO at Waccamaw Middle! They provide for our faculty and staff and students all year long, and we wanted to take a day to celebrate and thank them for all they do. Our Appreciation Breakfast in no way equals the amount of support they have given us, but it is a small token of thanks filled with tons of love and gratitude. You all are the best!
Testing Dates
We're almost at the finish line! Below are the remaining testing dates. Please make note of the following days and help us prepare your child for success by making sure they get plently of rest the night before, eat a nutritious breakfast the morning of, get to school on time, and have a charged device ready to go for the day!
May 20th - English I Assessment
May 21st - Fundamentals of Computing Exam
May 22nd - Alg 1 EOC
More Important Dates
We have some collection dates for materials coming up in the next couple of weeks. Please remind your student that all library books were due Thursday, May 16th. Late notices will be sent home on the 20th. All Chromebook and charger returns will begin during Warrior Time on Monday, May 20th with the following schedule:
May 20th - 7th graders with no makeup testing and passing all classes
May 21st - 8th graders with no makeups or ENG 1 or ALG EOC to complete and passing all classes
May 22nd - 8th graders who have completed all assessments and passing all classes
May 23rd - 7th & 8th graders who have completed all makeup testing and passing all classes
Letters and invoices for any damages to devices or lost chargers will go home with students by the 24th. If, however, you are already aware your child will need to pay, please send the exact cash amount or checks made out to Waccamaw Middle School on their turn in date. Possible charges are as follows:
Damaged screen = $100
Missing keys = $50
Lost Chargers = $40
Missing or damaged protective cases = $30
Missing hinge cover = $5
Thank you for your cooperation and help in taking care of this before the end of the school year.
