All Cass County 4-H shooting sports members are required to log 10 hours of instruction with a minimum of two hours per discipline if participating in multiple disciplines. Disciplines are broken into the following FOUR categories: 1) Shotgun, 2) Archery, 3) Air Pistol, 4) BB Gun/Air Rifle/.22 Rifle. It is the 4-Hers responsibility, to verify with their coach/instructor that they are certified in their discipline. Check with your coaches that you are signed off and the form is submitted to the Extension Office. Coaches you can sign off multiple 4-Hers on one form.

Showorks is open for online fair project entry! Please only enter the project you know you will have completed and ready for the fair. You DO NOT need to complete entries for contests. If you have last-minute static projects just let Tammy know and we will get them entered. Please email Tammy @ tcavanaugh2@unl.edu with any questions.

NDA is offering a Poultry Photo contest! They are seeking poultry photos from current 4-H members to be used in poultry education. Electronic submission of the photos is required. The entry form and contest rules are available on NDA’s website at www.nda.nebraska.gov

The State 4-H Office released an updated supporting information sheet for all Home Design & Restoration (formerly known as Home Environment) projects after our Fairbooks were printed. Please use the updated sheet for all HD&R projects you plan to enter! All supporting information sheets are available on our website: https://extension.unl.edu/statewide/cass/cass-county-fair/

The Cass County 4-H Council will be providing wood chips again for the fair!
