Procedure Update: On-Time School Arrival
Class Starts at 7:15!
Recently we have seen a significant uptick in the number of students who are late to their first period class. On some days, close to 10% of students are late!
Please be sure that if you are dropping students off or they are seniors who drive to school, that enough time is allowed to get to school so that students can be in their classroom by 7:15.
Students must have their school ID if checking in late.
A.P. Course Contracts Due
All students enrolled in an AP course are required to have their Parent/Guardian sign and return the AP Contract to Mr. Blecharczyk or the School Counseling Office no later than November 1st. The contract must indicate whether the student plans to take the AP Exam. This step is essential in the registration process.
If you have any questions, please contact your child’s AP Classroom Teacher or Mr. Blecharczyk, the AP Coordinator.

Class Act Spectator Statement
New Fairfield High School expects all spectators to maintain dignity and stay composed
throughout the duration of all athletic contests.
Competition is meant for the enjoyment of coaches, officials, spectators, and student-athletes.
We encourage you to positively support your team to create an inclusive atmosphere for all!
The student-athletes of the 2024-2025 Class Act Council created the statement below, which will be displayed at NFHS's home venues. Our students recognize that positive fan support is important to their success, and want to be sure that our spectators represent our school as well as they do. As we have exciting late-season contests and playoffs coming for several of our teams, please read and understand the statement our students need us all to adhere to!
Wellness Center Open!
Students are invited to get moving in the Wellness Center after school!
Join Mrs. Scappaticci in the Wellness Center on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 2:15-3:45. This is a great way to stay active and get into or stay in shape.
