The R. Grant Graham Star Reporter
October 18th, 2024
From the Principal
Hello Graham Family,
I hope your day is going well. We have some exciting news. Graham has its own Facebook page, and we will share what is going on at Graham.
Next week is the book fair. The body of this newsletter provides more information about it.
It is important that the drop-off lane keeps moving on the side of the school during morning arrival.
I've noticed parents and caregivers sitting in the drop-off lane waiting for school to start. Parking in those lanes makes it difficult for others to drop their students off and leave. Let's be courteous and keep that lane moving.
No student drop offs before 8:15 a.m. Also, if your student is walking to school, please make sure they don't arrive before 8:15 a.m. There are no adults outside to supervise them. If you need to leave for work before 8:15 a.m., you can utilize the Busy Bee Program, which is offered at Graham. It offers before and after school services.
It's getting cold outside. Please make sure your student is dressed warmly. If you need help with items, please don't hesitate to let us know.
Best Regards,
Jamie Brooks

A Note From Our Librarian 📗📘📙📕
We started a Reading for Education program to help our school raise money. An envelope explaining how the program works has been sent home with your student. Parents, please read over the information describing how you can participate. Your student will earn a participation prize when they return the filled-out envelope to school, and they can earn more great prizes when your family and friends help our school raise money. So don't forget to send the filled-out envelope back to school, and thanks for your support!
So far, this fundraiser has earned $714.78 for Graham! In addition, $1765 has been given to Graham teachers by students! This helps us purchase materials that directly support our students. Thank you so much for participating.
Popcorn & Juice is $.50 each
We do Popcorn and Juice every full day of school on Friday.
It is up to the teacher if they allow the Kids to eat the popcorn for snack or send it home.
If you would like to help with Popcorn on Fridays 830/1045
